•Okay, I really enjoyed the Buddy Miller. It's a solid Buddy record. His voice is strong. I don't think the guests are in the way, instead add subtle dabs of color and harmony. And those "weepy"songs worked for me. Looking forward to another spin or two.

(Per “Now Playing”). One of these was more likely than the other.
Further proof that you’re not yelling “Get off my lawn”. Lol
I like the new Buddy Miller. Looks like an excellent music day, sir.
Thanks for all you do. :)
Bruce should have been on the cover of Time and Newsweek for "The Wild, The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle," in my opinion. A perfect music day. Old. New. All good.
I like the new Buddy Miller album and it's growing on me. I like the slower 'weepy' songs but IMO there's a few too many of them. Slows down the overall record a bit. However 'Don't Look Back' with Dan Penn and that awesome choir made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Absolutely fantastic.
After seeing it in Now Playing so many times, I listened to Music, Fashion, Film. I'm not crazy about the manufactured sound, and there are no musicians listed anywhere, just producers, but the songs are pretty good pop. I can see why you like it.
A trio of M,F,F, LFYM!, and JSR’s Now Is Not A Great Time played perfectly. Thanks for the idea. I’ve streamed the first two at least as often as you (sometimes on repeat - they always seem to be over before they begin and always bring a smile). Gratitude for reminding the world about JSR, sir. 2018’s Nothing Doing on deck today. Do you have a personal favorite of the first three JSR albums?
Thanks for all you do. :)
P.S. I’m with Troy on “Don’t Look Back”. Also on deck today, The Temptations’ original.
I love all three for different reasons. But I think "Now Is Not A Great Time" is our best. I'm happy you dig them.
And what is the story about JSR’s Three To One which you played on 06.07.2025? Bandcamp, Apple Music, and AI are no help. Thanks :)
There was an Ultravox compilation titled "Three Into One" that took highlights from the first three John Foxx records. I did the same with the JSR, for my own pleasure.
Thanks for your responses. Hope you’re able to enjoy the day.
The Weekend Mix is awesome. Thanks for that as well, sir :)
