Life, Love, and Faith may be the best of Toussaint’s of his 1970’s releases. Going to have to dig in again.
Besides a ripping live set from The Bats last night, the best thing I listened to yesterday was John Hiatt - The Bottom Line, NYC, July 27, 1990 which was radio broadcast. Great sound and a stellar performance. https://soundaboard.blogspot.com/2015/12/john-hiatt-bottom-line-new-york-1990.html

The Allen Toussaint Collection culled the best of Life, Love, and Faith, Southern Nights, and Motion. On CD in 1991, three-sided vinyl in 2017. It’s a wonderful, well curated set with decent liner notes. Cleveland Jeff
