I too enjoyed Tinariwen yesterday, though I had hoped for a bit more grit. The other new album I tried was Olive Jones - For Mary. It is definitely worth a listen. Olive’s voice is a bit like Norah Jones’ but with more range. The songs are varied in tempo and style, but mostly have a soul feel like Roberta Flack, not Memphis or Motown. https://olivejones.bandcamp.com/album/for-mary
