It's hard to get enough of Geraint Watkins' music. Saw him years ago with Dave Edumunds on the DE 7th tour and have been a fan ever since.
I gave the first half of I'll Be Black a spin yesterday. Lot's of fun! As was The Lilac Time - Astronauts.

Thoughts on the King of America Box? Album holds up, presumably? Sound improved or revealing? Extras?
KOA & Blood & Chocolate are me favorite EC records. So, yes of course the album holds up. There is nothing new on discs two and three, almost all of that material has been released before. Problem is, discs 4-6 are not streaming, so I had to wait for a friend to send me files because I wasn't spending $135 for 15 unreleased songs. Hard to tell if the sound has improved listening to files. I did buy the remastered album proper, and it's fine. No great improvement over the original vinyl. In terms of the box as a whole, I like most of the material, just not sure I buy into the theme.
