A very enjoyable Elvis playlist. I had forgotten about that Sleeper cover. I’ve probably mentioned this before, but So Like Candy is my favorite of the McCartney collaborations.
It's definitely Top 3.
I played those demos on "Flowers In The Dirt" to death. Might have to listen this weekend.
I love how they changed the chord in the bridge on "melts away."
The demo is the same chords on both "face the day" and "melts away." But for the Costello version on "Mighty Like A Rose," "melts away" goes to a minor, which is the RIGHT decision.
How strange the change from major to minor
:)
