Oh and speaking of cover albums, I dug the new one by Taj Mahal. Have I just missed hearing him for some years; his voice sounded very different to what I expected. But enjoyed the album Savoy just the same.
Well Taj is 80! The last record with Ry Cooder was a fave of the year, had you not listened to that?
I did. His voice just sounded a little different than it was in my head. Maybe the way it was recorded. I listen to all the albums on your best of list!
