• Dragonflies was even better the second time around.
• My friend Mike who turned me onto Cyanide Pills, suggested The Speedways, as well. This was fantastic. From England, they sound like a skinny tie power pop band from the 70's, if fronted by Tommy Keene. This album is a compilation of songs from their first five LPs. Great stuff. Going back in for more.
• The self-titled George record from 1979 is an underrated gem.

I totally agree with your Dragonflies comment. Curious about the Special Ed. McCartney - too much of a good thing or the extras not being value-added?
IDHAS has been championing The Speedways for a bit now - a couple of their albums making year-end best of lists.

Thanks for all you do, sir :)
None of the extra Macca tracks need to be listened to a second time. They're fine, but better left off the album proper.
Cool. Thanks. Meant to mention above my gratitude for The Speedways reminder as I haven’t listened to them since the pandemic. That changes today. Cheers
The Speedways’ singles beginning 2025 (these were new to me)
