That Sgt. Zippo record was one that could have stayed on the shelf. CJ
Hahahaha. I was just gonna post an angry comment that Regimental Sgt Zippo is underrated! Never heard of it. Sal proves ALL music is worth a second listen.
I don't hate Sgt. Zippo. Some of it is indeed terrible, but there is enough to go back to, if you can deal with Elton trying to be psychedelic.
I haven’t even heard of that Elton John album. There’s always something new to discover!
Have you listened to the new Richard Thompson album yet Sal? I’m enjoying it. Has a little more air in the songs than the last couple of albums. Looking forward to seeing him with the band in January.
Have not heard the RT yet. I want to. I am a fan. It's just that I kinda know what it's going to be and so I keep delaying the experience.
We hope it will be as great as Hand of Kindness or Shoot Out The Lights, but we know it isn’t likely. I’ll take the plunge tomorrow.
