The Gaylads- Soul Beat (1967)- ****
(Hall Of Fame reggae record. If not Top Ten, definitely Top 20.)

The Beach Boys- Friends (1968)- ***1/2

Prince- Lovesexy (1988)- **1/2
(This record has such horrible memories attached to it, I don't think I could listen to it ever again.)

Juliana Hatfield & Eric Payne- Bets (2026)- ****
The Byrds- Never Before (1987)- ***1/2
Queen- II: Sessions (1974/2026)- ***1/2
Elvis Costello & The Attractions- Get Happy! (1980)- ****

The Beach Boys- 1965-1967 (2026)- ****

(Yesterday's Beach Boys discussion put me in action. I created a mix, "1965-1967" and it's a damn great player. It's HERE, if you're interested.)

Aretha Franklin- Aretha's Gold (1969)- ****

Even though it's currently 38 degrees here in the Ozarks, I'm going to the Beach today! Great mix!!

Love the Sherry's as well!

And thx for The Gaylads. That is a killer album. I don't want to cost you money with a download just to see the playlist on the Beach Boys. Post it?

I pay for the service. I don’t get charged for your downloads.

I listened to the BB playlist in its entirety. I liked the inclusion of "Kiss Me Baby" and "She Knows Me Too Well" which aren't usually included in these lists. For me, there was one egregious omission. I've always considered the single version of " Heroes and Villains" as one of their greatest recordings.

You're right. A complete oversight on my part. You could have said something else off "Pet Sounds" and I would have disagreed. But I can't disagree with including "Heroes & Villains."
