If there's such a thing a an underrated Beatles' song, it's Prudence. Nice cover.
Given yesterday's and today's Coltrane listens, I assume that's the box set from Rhino?!? Def will pull the plug on it soon, but at 250e, I need a breather before hand.
Yes it's the box. I did it on layaway.
Coltrane’s My Favorite Things, Monk’s Dream, and Kind of Blue are essential listening (along with a fair number of other albums from those three artists). I have never watched The Sound of Music so my first exposure to the song My Favorite Things was Coltrane. It’s so beautiful.

Count yourself lucky, Paul. Its one of those movies that my generation was exposed to very early on, and before you got the Nazi-ism in it. I initially hated that song, but now understand the beauty in it (absent the film), especially Coltrane's version.
