Interesting interview with Rhett Davies and Bob Clearmountain from 2003. Primarily about Avalon but, first couple paragraphs about their involvement in Manifesto and how the band’s process changed with this album. Seems Chic and Eno were influential.

Interesting to only me, I presume: Sparks’ Nº 1 in Heaven was released only two weeks earlier. Time has proven kind to both albums. Hope you have a wonderful day, and thanks for all you do, sir. :)
