John Ellis & Double Wide- Dance Like There's No Tomorrow- ***1/2
(Quirky record out of New Orleans that I really like with Jason Marsalis, Matt Perrine...at times it feels like if Zappa did a gospel record in New Orleans.)

Joe Higgs- Studio Rehearsal, L.A.: 11/7/84 (about half)- ***
(Interesting for a bit, but couldn't hold my interest.)

Pulp- More-***1/2
(Can't say I was much of a Pulp fan. Not sure I've heard enough of their music to really know if I am a fan. This "comeback" had a few moments. Don't think I'll play it again, though.)

Roxy Music- Siren- ****1/2
Marshall Crenshaw- Jaggedland-****

The Kinks- Latter Day Gems- ****1/2
(This was put together for me by a friend who is a Kinks expert, when I asked "What are the best Kinks tracks from the 80's and beyond?" He nailed it. One of my favorite playlists.)

The Beach Boys- Summer Days (And Summer Nights)- ****
