James Booker- The Lost Atlantic Sessions- ****
(I have over 500 hours of rare and unreleased Booker recordings, and I had no idea this existed until yesterday. What a find!)
James Booker- Nice Jazz Festival, 1978- ****
Johnny Cash- Here's Johnny (Personal Playlist)-****
The Zombies- Decca Stereo Anthology- ***1/2
The Beach Boys- Friends- ***1/2
Bad Company- S/T- ***1/2
Pretenders-Live! Kick'Em Where It Hurts! (about half) - ***
(A muddy capture of a sluggish performance.)
Robin Trower- For Earth Below (2025 Remix With Alternates)- ****
(What they did here was restore Trower's complete guitar solos that were edited to shorten the length of the album. The album runs about three minutes longer and it kicks ass.)
Cheap Trick- The Latest- ****
John Waite/The Babys- Personal Playlist- ****

Just about everything Robin Trower does kicks ass, one of my favs
500 hours! Plus, kudos on the title of the Johnny Cash playlist.
I’ve played Trower’s Bridge of Sighs and Long Misty Days many times, but missed For Earth Below. Will check it out.
While waiting for a connecting flight last night, UFO’s Lights Out fit my mood perfectly. Now that I’m home, Ernest Ranglin’s stunning Below The Bassline and Leonard Cohen’s Old Friends have kept me awake in spite of the jet lag.
