Shout out for playing The Cure’s The Head on the Door, sir! And that it was the best thing you listened to yesterday (with that playlist!) is recognition of (a) just how great that album really is even today; (b) a need for awesome gothic melancholy pop to fit the mood. And it can be both. Lol! The beginning of the band’s imperial phase. Some of my absolute favorite albums.
