Thanks for the introduction to The Visitor. I seem to recall zero radio play and unenthusiastic reviews at the time. 1981 was a big year for solo Mac and I remain a big fan of Buckingham’s Law and Order. I should’ve paid closer attention as there were hints:
a. George Hawkins and Fleetwood are the rhythm section for the album’s hit single ‘Trouble’. The only other musicians on the album.
b. The first song on Law and Order is ‘Bwana’ which begins ‘The night brings the stranger,
The jungle cries for more.
The natives in the villages,
The visitor at the door.’
Maybe not quite ‘Paul is dead’. But,… Lol!
Anyways, really enjoying it!
Any impressions on the new Bowie YA HSM?
Thanks for all you do, sir! May you and yours have a wonderful weekend!:)
Lots of great music shared here!:)
The Bowie HSM sounds fantastic. My ***1/2 rating is simply because I don't love the album. I like it.
Sweet! Well, should you choose to sell it, hopefully I’ll be the one that buys it. Thanks:)
