I like much of Ian Hunter's music, but I still struggle with Short Back N' Sides. I saw him on that tour with Mick Ronson, which was excellent. At least live there wasn't the early 80's production...
Listened to Peter Perrett's new one, The Cleansing. He's sure in a surly mood, though his voice sounds like he's still 30. The album is too long at 20 songs.
Iron and Wine were superb last night with piano, bass, drums, viola, and violin players as the band. Amazing vocal harmonies throughout. It helps that it was in an acousticly perfect concert hall. Nice added visuals from Chicago's Manual Cinema.

I like Side One of "Short Back n Sides." Never liked Side Two. The reason I pulled it out was because it was just reissued and MOJO gave it a stellar review, so I thought I'd revisit. Nope. Still don't ;ike Side Two.
