I will never understand why Chris Isaak wasn't a huge radio hit and star.
Because his records are offbeat, and occasionally strange.
Not mainstream enough for your casual pop fan and too safe to be a cult figure.
But so melodic, and Chris has a voice to melt away in. Plus, he's easy on the eyes. :) I'm with Michael, it's strange to me that he wasn't/isn't more popular.
Always great to put on some Arthur Alexander. There's another guy who should've been a bigger star.
