What's with all this jazz and reggae shit? :) I think Sonny Rollins released more great music in one year (1956 or 1957, take your pick) then most people did in a lifetime! Just FYI, been enjoying classics likie Saxophone Colossus and Tenor Madness and Sonny Rollins Vol. 1 and 2. (Though for some reason I only liked, not loved, Way Out West). I haven't ventured back into Joe Jackson yet, but am definitely intrigued by your love for Big World, which I doubt I've listened to since it came out.

I actually have JJ's "Big World" in today's listening pile. 2 LPs, all killer, no filler. Plus, I saw him three or four times on that tour, once in S.O.B's on Varick Street, which is super small. Also, have the memory of not being included when Carl, my Pep In The Cat band member bought tickets for everyone but me for the recording at the Roundabout Theatre. (I had quit the band, but still!) Lots of memories attached to that record.

Apologies for butting in, but for some reason I always thought the Roundabout was in London. You learn something new every day!

And I'm a fan of Big World too, though I haven't played it in a while. May have to remedy that this weekend.
