There was a recent ranking of Costello's albums on Spin, prompted by The Boy Named If release. The ranker put Momofuku dead last. I stopped reading after that.
The new album has driven me back to play both Momofuku and Brutal Youth. Rewarding listens.

My friend Dave sent me that Spin list with a message: "Momufuku" is last, so no point reading any further."
I often wonder if these "rankers" actually know these records or just do quick sound clip checks while Googling info.
