(Today wasn't a great day for writing notes. But this record inspired me to at least say this. "Copper Blue" is relentless! Hook after hook after hook. Loud and hard and in your face and never skimping on melody. Like Motorhead playing power pop. That is all.)

I’m grooving to Ronnie Foster right now. Montage looks interesting, too, so will check that out later. Always fun to find something new and worthwhile.
Copper Blue is a monster album. Relentless!
Best thing yesterday for me was the 2nd half of the first set of Jethro Tull singles that were compiled by Blank Frank of the apparently defunct And Your Bird Can Swing blog. https://and-your-bird-can-swing.blogspot.com/2020/02/jethro-tull-with-you-there-to-help-me.html

Excuse me, but I am the Ebony Godfather.
And Jocelyn Brown's album is indeed decent but "Somebody Else's Guy" is a great single.
And did you go see Sugar? My friend enjoyed the show, but the drummer practically fainted onstage. Not sure what was happening.
