Nino Tempo & April Stevens- All Strung Out (1967)- ****
The Action- Highlights From "Shadows & Reflections": Personal Playlist (2018/2023)- ****
(Amazing that these guys never released a proper album, yet there is a 4 disc boxed set that is complete. What's more amazing is that most of the box is stellar, with very little filler.)
Sparks- Propaganda (1974)- ****
Bob Marley & The Wailers- Satisfy My Soul Jah Jah, 1971-1972 (1998)- ***1/2
Leon Russell & Mark Benno- Look Inside The Asylum Choir (1968)- ***1/2
Taj Mahal- Mo'Roots (1974)- ****
(Best spin of the day, so far. So many perfect minutes. "Cajun Waltz" is simply stunning.)
Lucinda Williams- World's Gone Wrong (2026)- ****

That’s a superb list of 45’s. Haven’t had time to play the new set from Lucinda but expect to do so this week.
Best thing I listened to yesterday was Wailing Souls - Fire House Rock (1981) https://www.discogs.com/master/161419-Wailing-Souls-Fire-House-Rock. It was a first listen inspired by playing an old favorite of theirs, Lay It On The Line (1986) that I hadn’t heard in years since I only had a cassette copy. Fortunately Qobuz has both available.

Love that Wailing Souls record!
That's some good listening for one day!
The Taj song is amazing - can't wait to hear the rest of the LP.
Thanks! Randy
Tyler Ballgame For The First Time, Again: After reading a 4-star review in Mojo that mentioned the album being produced by Jonathan Rado of Foxygen as well as referencing The Lemon Twigs, I was curious. After listening to the 3 tracks available, I’m really looking forward to the album’s release on 01.30.2026. :)

Those weren't bad at all. I'd love to hear the D'Adarrios singing "I Believe In Love."
