What a refreshing difference in sound Big Star's Radio City was compared to their first album. Most bands' second album more or less mimic the sound of their initial successful effort.
Battle of the Bands is one of my favorite concept albums, and album in general. Not every song is knocked out of the park, but the way they fit the concept was brilliant.
I agree. And while not every song is knocked out of the park, there isn't a single song I want to skip, either.
