Marvin Gaye has at least seven alone! (Assuming you consider Tamla basically Motown, as I do.) Stevie Wonder, the Temptations, the Supremes...I timidly beg to differ on the claim that Motown acts are just singles acts. Or is Tamla Tamla and never the twain shall meet?
What if I amend the statement and say, "There aren't very many 60's Motown standalone records that play with high quality?" Marvin is certainly an exception.
