St. Vincent- All Born Screaming
Joe Higgs- Life Of Contradiction
(An amazing record. Truly beautiful, and one that I always think would appeal to those who don't like reggae. But what do I know? The guitar line in "Song My Enemy Sings" is mesmerizing.)
The Drifters- Golden Hits (Kevin Gray MONO Remaster)
Alice Cooper- School's Out
Little Feat- Sailin' Shoes
(New Lowell tribute just came out. As per usual, very uneven. But thankfully my two faves from the album get terrific versions. Mike Viola nails "Trouble" and Jonathan Wilson delivers a sweet "Willin'," though neither can touch the originals.)
Paul Weller- Sonik Kicks
(I've tried with this one and it just doesn't take. I think Jam fans who don't like solo Weller probably think it all sounds like this one.)
Bob Dylan- Desire
Elvis Presley- The Sun Sessions
Nine Inch Nails- Pretty Hate Machine
(A game changer! Saw them three times in concert and all three times were the best live shows of their respective years.)
The Heartbreakers- L.A.M.F.: The Found '77 Masters
(It's Saturday night, damn it!)
Keith Richards- Talk Is Cheap
(The reprobate marathon continues.)

Saw NIN twice in March 1990, early on the PHM tour. Both shows were legendary, making the headliners an afterthought - The Jesus and Mary Chain (Automatic) and Peter Murphy (Deep), respectively. Maybe 1K each show. It was all arena shows after that. And they kicked ass there too. And continue to do so.
