It's funny, the last time I listened to Revolver I was struck by how weird the album is. The juxtaposition of "she said I know what it's like to be dead" with "she feels good, and she knows she's looking fine" kind of set me off of the whole thing. Just didn't gel.
It surprised me, because I consider Revolver one of the Beatles' best.

Revolver is always the best thing you listened to yesterday, no matter what else. (Of course tomorrow I'd say that about White Album or A Hard Day's Night or Abbey Road etc). That Dolenz singing Nesmith was really terrific. I see he has a tribute album to Carole King. Good? And I listened to a lot of Marty Robbins recently. For whatever reason, he really excels in that western genre. But most everything else of his...not so much. But what a voice.
