I listened to London Town a lot when it came out, but it's been a long time since I've played it. How did it sound to you, Sal?

Also, I like that the Who was putting out singles outside of the bigger works of Tommy, Lighthouse, etc. Lots of good songs coming out then.

Bill,
London Town sounded great. My friend and bandmate loves this record and hopes that Macca gets around to a deluxe edition. I didn't think I was more than a casual fan. Love the title track, "I'm Carrying" and maybe one or two more. But so many songs stood out this time---"Children Children," "Deliver Your Children," "Bcakwards Traveller," all sounded better than I remembered.

So of course I had to listen to London Town this morning. I had forgotten a lot of the songs, but some of them brought back memories. Deliver Your Children was always a favorite. I liked the sound of I've Had Enough, although the song seemed a little simple. The song London Town has stuck with me over the years. This listen it struck me about what a low-key album opener it is.

Thanks for prompting the revisit!
