Rose Tattoo are from Australia, they are produced by Vanda & Young and they sound like AC/DC. But don't let that stop you. Their debut is a killer.
The McDonald Brothers mention The Partridge Family "Sound Magazine" in their documentary, and one of them casually tosses off this, "Side Two of 'Sound Magazine' is like 'Pet Sounds.'" Okay, it's not. But I really enjoyed the album. Solid AM radio pop.
One would think after doing a fantastic job as Freddie Mercury's replacement in Queen for the last 10-15 years, Adam Lambert would make an album that might appeal to Queen fans. But apparently, he's not feeling it and "ADAM" is just another generic electronic dance pop record never to be played again.

Rose Tattoo: "they sound like AC/DC but don't let that stop you." Hahahahahaha.
Any thoughts on The Format’s 2026 album Boycott Heaven? Discovered while enjoying the Nineties run by Redd Kross. Thanks for that. It had been nearly thirty years :)
I’d forgotten all about Redd Blood Cells.
Mirage is one of my Fleetwood Mac faves. Strong tunes from Mr. Buckingham,
Glad you came around a bit on MT Jones
Just put both Redd Blood Cells and The Format on my list,
I love "MIrage!"
I saw Rose Tattoo open for... someone(?) in the 80s at the Omni in Atlanta. Little bald guy named Angry Anderson, running around in a tanktop on stage. They had left the house lights up, so as my friends and I entered the seating area and made our way through the crowd to the floor, it took a while for us to realize there was a band onstage.
My memory of their set is that a) he was indeed angry, or at least played the part well, and 2) they were loud and tight. Good comparison to early AC/DC.
