Sun Ra- The Sound Of Joy (1968)- ****

Amaika Rude- The Ska & The Abstract Truth (2025)-***

Jimmy Campbell- Half Baked (1970)- ****

Sun Ra- The Heliocentric Worlds Of Sun Ra, Vol. 1 (1965)- ***

I watched the PBS documentary. I've got another dozen on deck. Gotta spread it out.

I enjoyed the Amaika Rude yesterday and followed it up with The Blues and the Abstract Truth which is definitely superior. Iain Ballamy’s Riversphere, vol. 1, was fantastic on a first listen.
