This record though, doesn't work for me. It feels like two backing tracks- danceable new wave and HBO promo drama ballad. Kim sings fine over both, but it's so manufactured, read: contrived, I couldn't appreciate the nostalgia.)

(I watched "Wired for Chaos," the documentary on Harley Flanagan. It's a fantastic film that I don't think you need to be a fan of The Cro-Mags or hardcore punk to enjoy, though I am a fan of both. It put me in the mood for this record, where Harley, at 12 years ago, is kicking ass on drums...if you like this sort of thing. But, I highly recommend "Wired For Chaos" to anyone who is a fan of documentaries, regardless of the subject.)
