Paul Weller- True Meanings (2018)- ****
Bruce Springsteen- Inyo (1995-1997/2025)- ***1/2
Kaleidoscope- Side Trips (1967)- ****
Dizzy Gillespie, Sonny Stitt, Sonny Rollins- Sonny Side Up (1959)- ****
(One of my very faves, maybe Top Ten, if I don't think too hard. Worth the price of admission for Dizzy's vocal on "Sunny Side Of The Street.)
Tammi Terrell- Irresistible (1968)- ****
(Another great non-comp album from Motown. That riff in "Can't Believe You Love Me" is a killer.)
Elvis Costello & The Attractions- Trust (1981)- ****
Dr. John & The Bonnaroo Revue feat. James Booker & James Black- Dallas, 4/11/74- ***1/2
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers- S/T (1976)- ****
Dwight Twilley Band- Sincerely (1976)- ****
(This was an excellent, albeit inadvertent, one-two punch.)

Any Trouble- Second Choice is one I first came across via Simels review in Stereo Review. Had the pleasure of hearing Clive Gregson sing it live as part of Richard Thompson’s band in the mid 80’s. A fine tune from an underrated songsmith.
