(Me and the late, great Tim Vega used to run copies of the Spin Doctors concert flyers when we worked together at Village Copier. This was three years before they signed to Sony. We were part of their "crew." Over the course of three years, Tim and I must have seen these guys 100 times at Nightingales, Dan Lynch, Wetlands...you name it, we were there. Great memories. This debut blew our minds and it still holds up, shitty MTV videos be damned. Also, the band never could follow-up with anything as strong. Amazing how just a few songs could stir up a ton of memories.)
David Bowie- Let's Dance
(I thought this record was the greatest thing since sliced bread in 1983. Now? Not so much. I enjoyed it. But, man some of it tanks, especially his cover "China Girl.")
