John Martyn- Glorious Fool
(I've been trying for years and years to get into John Martyn. But I think I dislike a lot more than I like.)

Pokey LaFarge- Rhumba Country
(I've enjoyed some of Lafarge's earlier records, though a lot of it came across as novelty. I was not expecting this new record to be this solid. I really enjoyed this.)

Giles, Giles & Fripp- The Brondesbury Tapes (1968)

The Kinks- Word Of Mouth

(This record is much better than I remembered it.)

The Kinks- A Soap Opera
(Another record that deserves better.)

The Cult- Pure Cult: The Singles, 1984-1995 (less two songs)

Misfits- S/T

(Everyone needs a copy of "Die Die My Darling" in their home.)

The Specials- The Best Of (Sides One, Three & Four)

Word of Mouth is my favorite latter-day Kinks album. Suffers from some 80s production, but plenty of good songs on it. One of them even made my Kinks 10-song greatest hits!

I think John Martyn had his one moment with Solid Air. The 1977 album One World certainly did nothing for me, nor any other songs. But I do dig his masterpiece.
