Sal, I like to see Meaty Beaty making regular appearances on your turntable. It really is one of the best Greatest Hits collections ever.
I listened to Face Dances this weekend, which I hadn't for a long time and enjoyed it a lot more than I expected. There are some really good songs on there. I was never a big fan of the production, but compared to modern day production, it sounds pretty good.

Guilty as charged. "MBBB" never gets old. It might be THE best singles collection ever assembled, with Aretha Gold and Sly's Greatest not too far behind.
AS for "Face Dances," yeah, a number of good songs, for sure. I just rarely reach for it. But I won't blame Kenney Jones!
There is a complete, pro-shot video on YouTube of The Who at Kampuchea that absolutely rocks. It's like The Who as punks, and credit must go to Kenney for rocking as hard and steady as he does.

Wow--hadn't seen that before. Will take a look tonight. I listened to Face Dances because someone had shared a video of the live version of The Quiet One from Shea Stadium and I thought it sounded good. Pete was playing some aggressive guitar. During these live performances, you can tell how he felt freed on the stage after the death of Keith Moon.
